About us
The faculty at Bethel College are academic professionals who strongly value lifelong learning. We wish to foster a love of learning and personal growth in our students; we seek to model this behavior in our own lives. Consequently, the faculty and administration have sought to create and implement programs that help promote professional development so all faculty members can grow across the span of their careers.
Faculty development at Bethel College implies a three-fold responsibility and commitment. First, individual faculty must commit to growth, and be responsible for documenting this growth.
Second, the College must provide programming and administrative support to help faculty enact their commitment to growth.
Third, the College has adopted criteria and assessment procedures to ensure that faculty receive regular review and guidance about their professional development.
