About Bethel

Office of Admission

The office of admission provides assistance and guidance for prospective students and families during the entire admission process—from visiting campus to applying for admission to Bethel to enrolling as a student.

How We Can Serve You

Workshops and Presentations

  • Admission counselors are available to visit church youth groups. We can provide:
    • a devotional
    • information about Bethel
    • a pizza party for your high school students.

We can tailor our visit to meet your needs.
  • Seminars are available for parents and youth on college-related topics such as:
    • how to prepare for college
    • how to plan a college search
    • how to navigate through the financial aid process.

Campus Visits

Youth groups are invited to visit our campus. It is free!

Whether it is one student or 100 students, Bethel can provide an overview of the college, a campus tour, a chapel service (during Monday, Wednesday or Friday), an actual college class and a meal in the dining commons. During the school year, your students will get to meet current Bethel students and faculty. Campus visits can also be structured around a theatre or athletic event, or even a special chapel program. See our campus event calendar to help your planning. If Bethel sponsors the event, the tickets are on us!

There is no fee for any of the activities during your visit and travel grants are available for youth groups who want to visit Bethel. If you need resources to help bring students to campus, please contact our coordinator of church relations.

Visit Opportunities

  • Day visits – may include a meeting with an admission counselor, faculty member or coach, a chapel service, a campus tour, an opportunity to sit in on a class and lunch in the dining commons.
  • Overnight visits – include the same activities as a day visit, while also providing your students the opportunity to stay overnight with current Bethel students in the residence halls.
  • Pilot Preview days – are group visit programs held throughout the year that allow most of the day visit opportunities as well as the opportunity to visit specific academic divisions.

Schedule a visit now, or contact our office by phone at 800.422.4101 or by e-mail.

Learning More About Bethel College

Students and parents can contact the admission office as early as the freshman year of high school. This will allow us to provide valuable information about planning for college, campus visits and scholarships.

Your students are embarking upon one of the most important decisions of their lives – choosing a college. We want the opportunity to know your students, learn about their interest and help them decide if Bethel College is the right choice for them. We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate the opportunity to build a relationship with your staff and congregation!
