Experience:
I taught fourth grade in Connersville, In for one semester, then first grade in Lancaster, Ohio for 9 years. Then I taught first grade for 5 years in Seoul, Korea and second grade in Korea for 3 years. I earned my Master’s degree while teaching in Seoul, Korea. While earning my doctorate I was a teacher in the Living Learning Lab at Ball State University and substitute taught in Muncie, IN schools. I co-authored three English textbooks for Korean Middle Schools while in Korea. They were the number one selling English textbooks! I also starred in the video series that accompanied the textbooks.

I am interested in international education, language arts, literacy, and art education.
