Note: The course, Studies in Biblical Lands (BBST 539), can be taken as an elective to replace any biblical studies course. It is usually offered each year in May or June on location in Israel at Jerusalem University College. The course involves 21 days in Israel; its title is “Historical and Geographical Backgrounds of the Bible” and credit is given by Jerusalem University College (3 hours). It is an excellent background course for interpreting biblical texts. More information can be obtained from Bethel College graduate studies office.
