Cibele Webb received a Technical Practical Nursing Certificate in 1996, followed by an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1997, both from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She earned a BSN at Michigan State University in 2000, and a MSN with specialization in healthcare education from University of Phoenix in 2009. Cibele has been teaching nursing students and professionals in a variety of settings since 2007. Her professional interests in nursing include curriculum, informatics, and diversity.
She possesses a broad nursing background with experience in administration, emergency, cardiac, med-surg, and maternal-child. Cibele co-wrote the Magnet Redesignation document for IU Health La Porte Hospital in 2009, and most recently wrote a chapter on Quality Improvement for a QSEN book expected to be published by 2013. Cibele is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, and National League for Nursing.
Cibele was born and raised in Brazil and speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English. She and her husband have four young children and belong to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Porte, IN.
