2008 Graduates

Five MSN graduates completed thesis requirements and walked for graduation May 4,2008. This picture was taken immediately after  graduation. Accreditation review and Action

The Master of Science in Nursing program had its accreditation review by the NLNAC site visitors October 30 – November 1st. They gave a positive site visit report and recommendations have been made for the program’s accreditation. The NLNAC Board of Commissioners met in February of 2008 and approved full accreditation for the MSN program.

1st MSN Class presents tree for class gift

The Master of Science Nursing graduating class of 2007, organized a tree dedication at the Middleton Hall of Science in September, of 2007. The membersTrees of the first msn class-Kathryn Deak, Janice Eigsti, Many Ann Horner, Tina Kendall, Jennifer Layman Young, Elena V. McNutt, Peg Ramey, Penny Robinson, Karen Rose, and Barbara White. The purchase and dedication of the tree was organized by Jennifer Layman Young a member of the class. Program Director for the Master’s in Nursing Program, Dr. Karon Schwartz, Dean of the School of Nursing, Ruth Davidhizar, Doris Bartlett, Master's in Nursing faculty, and other invited guests were present to commemorate the success of the first MSN class. The master's in nursing educator class started at Bethel in 2004. All students participated in the pinning with 6 graduated in April, 2007, and the others are in various stages of research and thesis completion.
