For the last ten years, Brent Reimer has been leading students abroad on short-term and semester abroad experiences. Having led and participated in many overseas programs, he has extensive travel experience and brings a wealth of knowledge about how to engage in different cultures. A 1993 graduate of Bethel College, Brent worked as a worship pastor before returning to Bethel College to serve as a Team Leader for Semester Abroad. He is now the Director of Semester Abroad and Task Force programs. His passion is to lead students abroad and walk alongside them as they discover new cultures. Brent’s most recent accomplishments include completing a degree in Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Bethel and traveling to all seven continents in one year.

Assistant Director–Laura Winningham
Laura Winningham graduated from Bethel College in 2010 with a degree in Mathematics. Originally from Romeo, Michigan, Laura spent time working in the field of Accounting before returning back to the Bethel community in 2011. She currently serves as the Area Coordinator for Perimeter Housing and the Assistant Director of the Semester Abroad and Task Force Office. Her favorite part about working with cross-cultural trips is seeing students experience God in a new way as they step out of their comfort zones. Laura has a passion for students and journeying through life alongside them. She enjoys being outdoors whether she is running, hiking or traveling. You can occasionally find Laura around campus using chopsticks for dinner or over-using post-it notes.
