Bachelor of Science in Business
Bethel College’s degree in business is designed for a competitive business world that demands real-world skills to generate new ideas and solve complex problems. In addition to the strong business core courses, you will choose one of the following concentrations:
- Healthcare Administration: Courses in this concentration are designed to provide business skills applicable to the growing field of healthcare. You will develop an understanding of the ethical, financial, and management issues facing healthcare today.
- Human Resource Management: This concentration is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in human resource management. Students will study subjects like labor relations, training and development, and HR information systems.
- Nonprofit Management: Courses in this concentration are designed for those serving in, or interested in, careers within the nonprofit sector. You will study subjects including fundraising, marketing and management for non-profits, and volunteer development.
- Organizational Leadership: This concentration was designed to provide you with the skills for leadership in the workplace and your community. Courses cover a variety of topics including conflict management, performance management, and problem solving.
Additionally, you can earn up to 30 credits for your learning experience.
You will learn from experienced faculty who will help you pursue a new career or advance your current one. It also serves as an excellent stepping stone towards earning a Master of Business Administration from Bethel College.
