Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management

Degree Course Requirements and Descriptions

Consider your future with an Organizational Management degree from Bethel College. The 16-month program offers sequential modules meeting once a week in four-hour sessions with seminar style instruction. Faculty and business leaders provide expertise and offer a dynamic exchange of ideas. Students are challenged in preparation for successful careers in business or graduate school. New groups are formed throughout the year providing personal and group support. Students have an opportunity to develop their potential and gain the necessary communication skills to obtain a competitive advantage.

Program participants may receive credit for prior learning experience. Financial aid is available as well as the possibility for company reimbursement.

  • OM 110 - Calendar – Beginning 3/12/12 at Bethel College’s campus in Elkhart (Monday Evenings)
  • OM S18 - Calendar – Beginning 3/14/12 at Southwestern Michigan College’s campus in Dowagiac, MI (Wednesday Evenings)

 

ELIGIBILITY

You are eligible to participate in the Organizational Management degree completion program if you have at least 62 transferable academic credits and time for one evening session per week for 16 months.

CURRICULUM

The core curriculum is designed to give students knowledge in those areas where managers spend a major portion of their time within the company. Each course is considered to be an introductory course and, therefore, does not require specific academic competencies.

Students receive academic credit for studying group and organizational behavior, systems management, accounting for manager, statistical methods and research, managerial finance, biblical perspectives for managers, managerial economics, human resources administration, principles of management and supervision, and business ethics.

The end result is a 36-semester hour major and a bachelor of science degree in Organizational Management.
