STUDENT WEB SITE

For your convenience Bethel College has a student Web site that will enable students to do the following: access their grades, print unofficial transcripts, check schedules, etc.

Login:

  • Go to: My.BethelCollege.edu 
  • Login at the top right of the page
  • Enter your user name: firstname.lastname
  • Enter your password: first five digits of your Social Security number
  • Then press the enter key.

BETHEL E-MAIL

Bethel College provides e-mail accounts to all registered students.
Login:

  • Go to: My.BethelCollege.edu
  • Next click on the Link labeled E-Mail under Quick Links on the left hand side
  • Enter your user name: firstname.lastname
  • Enter your password: first five digits of your Social Security number
  • Then press the enter key. This will open your inbox.
  • It is important to check your Bethel e-mail. ALL communication is through your email account.
  • If you are unsure of your user name, you can call the computer Help Desk at (574) 807-7777 or by e-mail, helpdesk@BethelCollege.edu.

ACCESSING EMAIL VIA SMARTPHONE OR TABLET

If you would like to set up your phone or tablet to retrieve your Bethel email, use the following settings:

  • Address: firstname.lastname@bethelcollege.edu
  • Server: mail.bethelcollege.edu
  • Domain: bethel
  • User name: firstname.lastname
  • Password: first five numbers of your social security number
  • SSL: On
  • S/MIME: Off

VIEW SCHEDULE

  • Click on “Student” tab at the top of the page
  • Click on “Student Information” left side tool bar
  • Click on “Student Schedule” gold letters
  • Sort by session:  Click “Term” and select your session. Example: FA F1 (fall first session)
    FA FO (fall 14 week) FA F2 (fall second session)
  • Click “View Schedule”
  • Print an unofficial transcript – click on “Academic Record”
  • Fill out open course evaluations – click on  “Student”, then “Student Information” Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on “MyCourseval”

ACCESS COURSES

  • Top of the page click ‘My Courses’
  • Courses will be listed in alphabetical order by course name. They are not listed by session.
  • Click on the blue letters of the course name that you want to access/open.
  • Left side tool bar options: syllabus, course overview, discussion forum, etc

REGISTERING FOR CLASSES

  • You will receive an email from your advisor when registration is open.
  • Compare your course plan to your online transcript and then look for classes on the online schedule: http://www.bethelcollege.edu/academics/nontraditional/course-schedule.html
    • Choose the appropriate semester and format (online, on campus, etc)
  • After you register, your advisor will be notified, and registration will close until the following semester.
  • If you need to add a class after registration has closed, contact your advisor.
  • If you need to drop a class, contact your advisor.

COMPUTER LAB

The college maintains a laboratory equipped with computers for registered students to use as they have need. A laboratory assistant is on duty at all times to help users who may need assistance. Students may purchase dvd’s, cd’s, and mini dvd’s for a small fee. The computer lab may be used only for work that is directly related to Bethel College course work.

A copy machine is available in the computer lab for general student use.

Fall/Spring Semester Computer Lab Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – midnight
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday:  5:00 p.m. – midnight

Summer hours will be posted.
