Israel Program
Spend a semester in Israel and literally walk in the footsteps of Christ!
Bethel College has a jointly sponsored program with Jerusalem University College to offer a semester abroad program in Jerusalem. Just imagine being in a place where just one hundred yards north of campus you enter the Old City through the Zion Gate! Nearby are such sites as the Western Wall of the Temple Mount, the Dome of the Rock, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
You can study biblical history in a classroom, or take Archaeology in the Bible lands! Study Hebrew from people who speak it as their native tongue. Don’t just read about the Sea of Galilee — visit it! Take courses on history, Middle Eastern Cultures, and Ministry.
As this is principally a Jerusalem University College program—it is important to work out the trip details well in advance with the Semester Abroad Office here at Bethel. We encourage you to go to their webpage to look at their courses. Although it is possible that students from non-CCCU schools can apply directly—it is very important that you work through the Semester Abroad Office BEFORE you fill out any application so that we can be sure that your credits will count toward your degree and your financial aid will be handled appropriately.
