I had 15 years of K-12 experience before moving into higher education. My experience was primarily with upper elementary and middle school age student in both public and private, Christian schools. In addition, I have worked with children with severe disabilities and adolescents with behavior problems.

The highlight of my teaching was my 6 years at a Christian international school in South Korea. I helped to start the school and was the administrator/teacher. I have remained connected with the parent organization, which is now the Network of International School, through summer pre-field orientations.
