JoLynn Reimer attended Bethel College for three semesters before transferring to the University of Iowa to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued post graduate work completing an Advanced Practical Obstetrics certificate program at the University of Alberta in Western Canada. She earned a MA in 1996 from Gongaza University and a MS from Ball State University in 2004. Her interest is maternity nursing with the majority of her clinical and teaching experience in Labor and Delivery. JoLynn teaches maternity in the Associate Degree in Nursing program in the fall and is a clinical instructor for the BSN Nursing the Individual (medical surgical nursing) in the spring. During the summer, she works PRN on the Maternity Unit at Elkhart General and oversees nurse coverage for Prairie Youth Camps. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nu Omicron at Large Chapter, ISNA/ANA, and Elkhart General Parish Nursing. JoLynn and her husband have three children and four grandchildren. They enjoy participating in mission work teams in Puerto Rico and Honduras through their home church, Nappanee Missionary.
