Connie Cramer, RNC, MSN, CNE is an Assistant Professor at Bethel College in the nursing department. Connie obtained her master in nursing administration with an emphasis in psychology from Andrews University in 1987. She has received her certification as a psychiatric–mental health nurse. She has been teaching at Bethel College since 1993. She enjoys teaching psychiatric-mental health nursing, to both the ADN and BSN students. She works on a PRN basis during the summer at Oaklawn Hospital in Goshen to keep her nursing skills current. She also helps coordinate the clinical problem solving course, and she is actively involved with students who need remediation and additional support. She is a BLS instructor with the American Heart Association. She belongs to Sigma Theta Tau. She has published several articles, with the main focus being on health promotion and mental health issues. She has attended a variety of in–services, with the emphasis on mental health issues, and teaching–learning concepts. She has 3 children, and a very supportive husband. She attends Elkhart Northside Church of the Nazarene.
