Cibele Webb MSN Ed., RN is the Coordinator of the BSN Completion Program. She received a Master of Science in Nursing with specialization in health care education from University of Phoenix in 2009, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University in 2000, an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1997, and a Technical Practical Nursing Certificate in 1996, both from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Ms. Webb has been teaching nursing students and professionals in a variety of settings since 2007. Her current professional interests include curriculum, nursing informatics, promoting cultural competency and diversity, and new program development.
Ms. Webb authored the book chapter Essentials of Quality Improvement in Introduction to Quality & Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN), published in 2014. She also had the privilege to co-author a Magnet re-designation document for a health care facility in 2009. Prior to joining the academic setting full-time in 2009, Ms. Webb had the opportunity to practice in a variety of clinical settings, including emergency, cath lab, neuro, cardiac, med-surg, and maternal-child. She is currently a member of Sigma ThetaTau, American Nurses Association, Indiana State Nurses Association, and the National League for Nursing.
Ms. Webb along with her husband Patrick and their four children are members of St. Matthew Cathedral in South Bend. She was born and raised in Brazil and speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English languages.
