Sigma Theta Tau
Sigma Theta Tau International Nu Omicron Chapter-at-Large celebrated the induction of new members in a ceremony held on Friday, March 22, 2013 in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium on the Bethel College campus. The inductees were comprised of Bachelor of Science and Master of Science nursing students from Bethel College, Goshen College and Saint Mary’s College. Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing. Opening remarks were given by Gail Weybright, MSN, RN, CNE, President of Nu Omicron. The keynote speech was presented by Marsha King, DNPc, MS, MBA, RN, NEA-BC. Following the induction ceremony, the 2013 essay winners receiving a Nu Omicron nursing scholarship were announced. Lauren Cox of Bethel College, Kara Kaminiski of Goshen College, and Lindsay Payne of Saint Mary’s College received the awards.
