Look up the word “nurse” in the Encarta Dictionary: English North American version on your computer and you will find the definition:
- somebody caring for patients
somebody trained to look after sick or injured people, especially somebody who works in a hospital or clinic, administering the care and treatment that a doctor prescribes.
While that may be true, it doesn’t even begin to describe all the roles that nurses hold. Bethel College School of Nursing alumni have put their nursing knowledge to work in many varied ways. Just click on the picture to get acquainted with a few of our grads and see how they have stepped out of the “traditional” nursing role.
