Our students graduate with the confidence and skills to follow their dreams in a wide range of professions. Recent Bethel graduates have pursued exciting career paths, including acting in a professional theatre troupe, working for a Hollywood-based talent agency and serving as an assistant technical director for the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The program is firmly based in the liberal arts tradition of Bethel College and maintains that training in the theatre is a valuable preparation for life and a variety of ministry and career possibilities. The program offers experiences in ministry, problem solving, collaboration, organization, management, and leadership.

The Theatre Arts Department expects its majors and minors to be committed to all of their academic courses. It also expects a commitment to the program and maintaining a spirit of unity through a positive, cooperative attitude toward peers, faculty, and staff.
