Krista's Story

I first heard of Bethel at the Hawaii District MYF camp during my senior year. I was not sure what to expect from a “Christian college” as I had never been exposed to them. My experience was that they were only for pastors or missionaries. Boy was I wrong! I found a whole new group of people who opened up their homes and lives to a girl a long way from home. I loved experiencing the new culture including food and snow!

Since then God has blessed me here with a career that I love! Helping students see that Christian higher education is possible. Some people ask why are you not back home…my reason, God isn’t finished with me here yet!
