Undergraduate Admission

Our Admission Committee considers each student on an individual level, paying special attention to:

  • Course selection
  • Grades in college preparatory classes
  • Results on the SAT and/or the ACT
  • Community, church, and extracurricular involvement
  • Personal statement

The recommended high school coursework to be prepared for Bethel includes:

  • English - four years
  • Mathematics - three years
  • Laboratory science - three years
  • History and Social Studies - three years
  • Foreign language - two years

APPLICATION PROGRAMS

For high school students who choose to apply early in their senior year, Bethel College offers three early admission programs. Students applying for Early Admission I should present a strong record of academic achievement and plan to take the ACT or the SAT no later than October of their senior year.

Early Admission I - Application Priority Date: Dec. 1

Benefits

  • First consideration for the January or February Trustee Scholarship Day
  • Considered for all academic- and performance-based scholarship programs
  • Scholarship notification begins mid December
  • Early consideration for housing options

Early consideration for registration options Admission II - Application Priority Date: Jan. 15

Admission III - Application Priority Date: Mar. 1

Fall Semester
First Friday in August, Application must be received
