First Time Freshman
Who should apply as a first-time freshman?
- Current high school seniors who may or may not have taken some college courses.
- High school graduates who have not taken any college courses after graduation.
Submit the Following Items to Apply for Admission
- Application for undergraduate admission (choose one of the following)
- Apply Online
- Download and print the application and instructions
(requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) - Request a paper application
- A $25 non-refundable application fee
- Fee waived for online applications
- Official high school transcript
- Must show course work completed at least through junior year
- Include the Secondary School Report completed by the guidance office
- Admitted students must submit an official final high school transcript indicating date of graduation
- Official transcripts of any college course work
- An official copy of your ACT and/or SAT scores
- Bethel College codes: ACT - 1178, SAT - 1079
- Visit www.collegeboard.com (SAT) or www.ACT.org (ACT) to request your scores be sent to Bethel
- Personal reference form
- From your pastor or teacher
- Personal statement (300-400 words) on one or more of the following topics (e-mail MS Word document)
- Your academic ambitions
- Your career objectives
- Your statement of faith or ministry goals
- Your reason for applying to Bethel College
After You Apply
Upon submission of the application your admission counselor will guide you through the admission process. When all of the materials listed above have been received, a decision on your admission to Bethel College will be made. You will be notified of your admission status by mail, usually within three weeks of completing your file.
All accepted students are considered for academic scholarships. Award recipients will be notified within two weeks of being admitted to Bethel.
