Jenna's Story

I am from the Mishawaka area and attending a college close to home had never crossed my mind. I went away to college for 2 years, but during my sophomore year something began stirring in my heart, a desire for something different. Before I knew it, I was visiting Bethel’s campus and decided to transfer here to complete my last 2 years of college. I do not regret this move for one second. God has provided so much support, growth, and opportunity for me through the Bethel community. The professors, staff, and students urged me along in my academic as well as my spiritual journeys. I was challenged academically and also had the opportunities to take part in Bethel’s Music Ministry Teams, Women’s chorale and intramural sports. I also had the privilege of studying abroad for a semester in the Dominican Republic, which was an amazing experience! Bethel will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Jenna’s Advice

Choose a college where you are confident you will be able to find the community, academics and support you need. This is so important for a positive college experience. Pray about your decision and God will show you where to go! Schedule campus visits and meet students and professors so you can get a feel for each school you visit. It’s always helpful to step onto a campus!
