Kari's Story

I was born and raised on our family farm in Mishawaka, IN (a few miles away from Bethel). Even though I was from this area, going into the college search, I knew very little about Bethel. After graduating from high school I had a deep desire to discover God and find out more about who He is. I knew that Bethel was a Christian college and that it had a strong sense of community so I decided to apply for admission. I was drawn in by Bethel’s incredible academics, fun social life, and the spiritual depth of the campus. I immediately felt as though I was home.

Kari's Advice

The best advice I can you when searching for a college is to schedule a campus visit! You want to feel comfortable and find a place that offers what you are looking for. Check out the dorms, eat in the cafeteria, meet professors, take in a fine arts or sporting event and get a good feel for the academic department your major is a part of. Doing all of these things will help make your decision easier and you will get a chance to see where you fit the best.
