Presidential Perspective
In 1947 a small group of faithful individuals realized a dream—Bethel College. By all odds it should never have come into existence, but as a 1955 South Bend Tribune headline about Bethel put it, “Faith Founds a College.”
Today that dream is a vibrant, growing institution committed to excellence in Christian higher education. In the days ahead Bethel will continue to grow in size, reputation and influence. It will be an exciting time as we endeavor to capture the best of what Bethel has been, and couple that with new dreams for her future.
To do so we are dependent upon those who have and will continue to step forward as our “living endowment” — alumni and friends who will partner with us annually to help prepare the next generation of Christian leaders.
Thus I invite you to assist us by joining the FOUNDERS SOCIETY. And, like those faithful individuals in 1947, we can continue the dream.
