Redgina Hill Named as Director of Diversity & Inclusion

Bethel College has named Redgina Hill as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion. Bethel has grown to 21.4 percent students of color, and this newly created position is designed to deepen the college’s efforts in developing and promoting diversity among students, faculty and staff.

Bethel Hosts Summer of Service Youth Volunteers

Bethel College will host area junior high and high school students as part of the annual Summer of Service (SOS) student weekend from June 18 to 21. More than 600 students and adult volunteers from 31 local churches will participate in the four-day, three-night, service-oriented event. Volunteers will stay in Bethel’s residence halls and, between service projects, will gather in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center for worship, teaching, prayer, group discussion and devotions.

2014-15 Pride Points

Mike Lightfoot ’78, head men’s basketball coach, celebrated his 700th career victory during the 2013-14 season. Achieving this milestone in just 960 games makes him the third-quickest NAIA coach and the 18th-quickest coach in men’s basketball history to reach 700 wins.
