I am in my last week as a Bethel student! What a great experience it has been! I have been blessed with so many great relationships over the past 4 years and most of those will extend way past Bethel College! The people at this school are so nice and helpful to me along my Christian walk. I would not trade the days I got to attend Bethel for anything! I know when I leave here that I am going to be prepared for whatever life throws at me. I have been prepared to enter the real world and situations that have been presented at Bethel will definitely get their students ready to take on the world! Doing this blog has been a blessing and thank you all for reading it and following me! Thanks and Go Pilots!

This week in chapel we had a speaker come in and talked to us about goals. It was great to hear about a follower of Christ following his goals and aspirations. So many times we hear to strive for what WE want, but the speaker really pushed us to find our passions and aspirations through Christ. I really enjoyed hearing this especially as I am about to graduate. I am not 100% on what I am going to next year but finding my passions in life is going to help me succeed in whatever God has in store for me. The experience of chapels and having the opportunity to hear the stories of so many people will help me as I continue my life even after Bethel College.

Many times in our life we face adversity. When facing adversity it is not an easy thing to do. Regardless of how big or small the problem really is, when going through it the pain can be excruciating sometimes. At Bethel, and everywhere else, you see people going through a lot of pain and suffering. It is just wonderful to see how people can cope with struggles that we never thought we could face. People turn to friends, family, and most of all Jesus Christ when they are dealing with adversity here at Bethel. Coming out of here I will for sure know how to deal with adversity because I have had great examples of Jesus Christ centered people to help me in whatever journey might take with me. Thanks for reading! Go Pilots!!

In March in Northern Indiana it is a rare occurrence to see the sun. It is normally still chilly from the winter but this year is something special! The weather has been in the mid 70′s since Bethel College’s spring break. Students at Bethel have really been taking advantage of the warm weather. When you walk around campus it is not rare to see students reading, studying, talking, or doing devotionals out by the beautiful ponds. Students are really taking advantage of this weather and it really is a gift. We are all hoping the weather stays throughout the rest of the school year! It has been wonderful for spring sports athletes (including myself with baseball) to get out and play in weather that doesn’t require 5 layers of clothes! As we finish up the spring semester it will be great to enjoy this weather, however long it will last! Go Pilots!

It has been a great year so far, and it has gone surprisingly fast! With the final quarter of the year starting after a great spring break there are so many reasons to be excited! I get to graduate at the end of April which is going to be a wonderful accomplishment, I made it through college! I also am going to finish up my 4th year of baseball as a member of the Bethel College baseball team! We are hoping to have a great year and great support from the members of Bethel! I also get to be married to the most amazing girl ever, and I met her at Bethel! So many positives as I head into my last portion of being a student at Bethel College! Until next time! Go Pilots!

We are going to Winter Haven, Florida to play baseball! It is around 80 degrees everyday and we get to do the thing we love most. This is a great thing Bethel does for their athletic teams and we make the most of our trip. I will most likely write my next blog wrapping up our spring break and the fun we had with the Bethel Baseball team so make sure you check in next time to read about how we did! Go Pilots!

Bethel College is known for giving. This week Bethel hosted yet another successful blood drive. Many people from the college came out, as well as a few people from the community. It was great to see people giving blood and time to help those that are in most need. One thing Bethel College students always make sure of is giving is their top priority. Today is just another example of people looking for opportunities to serve as the Lord’s hands and feet! Go Pilots and great job at the blood drive!

For the first time in my 4 years at Bethel College I was warm enough wearing shorts and a t-shirt around campus. When the trees are covered in snow and the campus is white, its a beautiful sight. Nothing can beat the sunshine and warm weather. Walking around campus in warm weather makes me happy, especially being a baseball player. We were able to practice outside for the first time in February…. ever! It was wonderful. As we prepare to go on Spring Break to Florida, we are all happy to be able to prepare outside and get ready for that sunshine in Florida. The spring trip is great with Bethel baseball every year. We are able to go on this trip thanks to huge donations from some of our former players! This is a great perk of playing baseball here at Bethel! Until next time, Go Pilots!

This week Bethel College emphasizes the evangelism of people who have not heard the gospel. I got the privilege of listening to one of Bethel’s ministry professors, Dr. Dendiu. He spoke about building relationships with people before offering to bring them to Christ. This is something that hit me hard because a lot of times it seems like people are more interested in how many people they can share the gospel with. I found that we need to build relationships and try to have quality relationships with people when trying to share the love of Jesus Christ with them. This is another perk of this college, the opportunity to talk about how to evangelize. Dr. Dendiu did a phenomenal job discussing this topic! Thanks for reading once again! Go Pilots!

When I came to Bethel College my main focus was baseball. I thought that was my reason for coming here and that was going to be my purpose at college. Little did I know, God had way bigger plans for me! After my freshman year I got to go on a retreat for student athletes. It was there my life was changed for the better. God did some amazing works in my life, one of them being introducing me to the most perfect girl I have ever met. We were great friends from this point on. On January 12 I got engaged to a girl I met while at Bethel College. I’m not saying everybody who attends Bethel College will find their future spouse, but I will say God has bigger plans than you could dream of when making decisions based on His will. Bethel has some amazing people and the relationships that are built at this college are ones that will last everyone a lifetime! Thanks for reading!
