I Miss College! Or do I…?
Fall break has started, but I find myself a little sad because I’m away from campus right now. I love the fact that I get to see my family, but I realize that once you’ve spent some time getting to know new people and doing new things that you start to miss it.
For example, the Hobbit (the theater production we performed at bethel this month) is over, but I’ve grown to love and care for my fellow cast and crew members. There is the joke that most of us still have “Hobbit Hangover” because we often laugh when one of us inserts a line into everyday conversation. Also, it has been a great platform to meet new people and learn about what other people do in their spare time.
Some other things I’m missing about campus is the fact that I’m so used to walking everywhere that getting in a car is almost weird to me. It’s a good thing my family is allowing me to re-familiarize myself.
Is it possible to be collegesick? It’s humorous, but it’s possible. I guess until I get back, I can always do homework and study for my classes, right? Then again, I don’t think I miss college that much .
