Hosting!
So Thursday night a perspective student, named Anna, came to stay with me. We went to the Acorn to have dinner and just get to know each other. Then we went back to my room for a bit before we went to the Sailor Great Room to have a worship session. My friend Libby brought a keyboard and then someone brought their bass guitar. Some people form Tuckey came and joined us. It was solid and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even Anna. One of my roommates said she respected Anna’s courage to stay with people she didn’t even know. I thought it was really cool, too. I knew people before I can to stay here but I highly encourage staying with people when you come to visit Bethel…I think it helps in the decision making process. (The biggest turn on to Bethel I had was the community. People are just so genuine here and I absolutely love it).
I’m hosting again this Sunday and I’m totally pumped!
