Beauty from Pain
This weekend, I have the amazing opportunity to be a part of the crew for the Women of Lockerbie theater producation at Bethel. I must say that it is one of the most impactful shows I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t want to give too much away. You’d have to see it to believe it. But all in all, the show gives a message about how some of the most beautiful things come from the most tragic situations. In the setting, everyone has a story and while the underlying goal is to not have hate triumph over all, you find out that even though it has, there is still a fight that rests in the grief that yields victory in the end. See, I told you it was beautiful. I am grateful to God that I am able to be a part of such a great thing as this production.
I’m also grateful that I can learn from the message being portrayed. It makes my heart glad to know that Bethel can put on these shows and provoke real, deep thought from the audience.
