“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”
I work in the ticket office at Bethel where we are currently selling tickets for the upcoming Christmas Choir Concert on December 2nd and 3rd. (You should come! Just call the ticket office at 574-807-7080 to get your tickets!
) There are evergreen trees in the foyer of the Chapel building, which is right where I work, as well as a few practice decorations in one of the windows along the legnth of glass that overlooks the pond. I actually had the opportunity to hear the Concert Choir perform a few of their Christmas songs on Sunday at a church over in Elkhart. That along with the occasional white flakes that glisten through the air definitely give the feeling that Christmas is soon approaching.
I have to admit, I haven’t been the best welcome for the snow and the cold, it does help to give me extra knots in my back afterall, but I am very excited for Christmas to arrive. I am excited to see my family and to rest, but I think what I am most excited for is the reminder that God humbled himself from having ultimate power to being a helpless baby. And He did this for us.
Bethel, thank you for making Christmas such a wonderful time and reminding me of what I should be thanking God for every day of my life.
