How do I say this…I love the girls I live with. My roommate, my suite-mates, the girls on my floor, the girls in my entire dorm! They have been such a blessing to me. College is one of the times in your life that you will be stretched and experience growth like none other. Through these times it’s easy to lose sight of what is going on around you. But with these girls in my life it is easy to see how God is moving, teaching, and growing each one of us.
The other night when I began to get ready for bed I walked into the bathroom that connects my room with my suite-mates’ room. As I reached for my toothbrush I overheard one of the most encouraging conversations. They were discussing the challenges of life and how they arrived at Bethel, but how it always seemed to be that God was the one orchestrating that they came here. I love to hear the passion for God that I heard that night. I love walking down the hall and hearing voices lifted in worship coming from a room. I love to overhear the girls talking about what God has been teaching them. It is such a blessing and an encouragement.
Bethel, thank you for giving me the opportunity to interact and even live in the same dorm as these wonderful, godly, encouraging girls.
