My first news article!
Oh, one other exciting piece of news!
I recently wrote a news article on a guy who unicycles here on campus. I submitted this story to the South Bend Tribune, and they agreed to run it in their community section! I was excited. I had my journalism professor look it over and give me a few tips, which helped a lot. They are running the story some time in the next couple of weeks both in print and online. I will be sure to keep you all updated by including a link to the story once it is up on the Tribune’s website.
They also sent a photographer out to take a few pictures of unicycling and even some video footage. The photographer said that these will be included on the website version of the article. I am really pumped to see the story once it comes out!
There isn’t a whole lot else going on. I have been doing well, and enjoying my time here. It’s hard to believe that Christmas break is only two weeks away now. Especially knowing that when I return, my roommate (who is also my brother) won’t be back. He’s graduating, and it’s going to be hard to come back without him! I’ll miss him very much. I am excited to see how God uses him next, though!
