Thanksgiving/Wrapping up
So here is my update as of late.
Thanksgiving went great. It was nice to see my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. again. I am blessed to be able to say I honestly have a wonderful family. It’s great to see how God is working through each one, and it encourages me when I can hear about what they are up to in their lives.
I heard a great piece of advice from a communication professor I have. He stated that whenever we start giving thanks verbally, we should continue non-verbally. So if we are thankful, we should not only say it on Thanksgiving day, but also show it throughout the rest of our lives. This applies to many levels of our walk with Christ. If we are happy to be forgiven, we should show it by forgiving others. The list goes on! It is a great reminder through out the week.
Now, it’s back to Bethel! I have been assigned a lot of final papers in each of my classes. It hasn’t been unbearable, but it’s definitely a lot to get done. I just hope and pray I can finish out the semester strong, and do well on my finals. I have two this semester, I believe. The rest aren’t the typical tests on finals week, but may come in the form of a paper due the week before, or a shorter test, etc. I think I will be able to do alright. I have worked hard this semester. Looking forward to finishing up!
