How to Celebrate the End of Finals Week
As every college student will tell you, the end of finals week is more than an accomplishment; it’s a victory. In an epic battle against concepts learned in September, the Bethel student hopes to emerge victorious and reigning over all course content! And just like the Beowulf first fought many battles before defeating the dragon, so the Bethel student wages war against many things before the actual week of finals arrives. We combat lack of sleep, lack of motivation, lack of time, lack of social life, lack of available flash drive space, lack of breaks, lack of sanity, and even lack of desks at the library (When that happens, you know it’s a full fledged battle). So when that joyful moment of completing your LAST final comes, you better believe there should be at least some sort of celebration! Lucky for you, I have a list of how the average epic Bethel student can properly celebrate the end of finals!
1- Go to Tradewinds and buy one of everything.
2- Go to Sweet Street Inc. in University Park Mall and treat yourself to a delicious caramel apple.
3- Go to Polito’s and buy the biggest calzone on the menu.
4- Blow up a bunch of balloons ad pop them all; one for each final.
5- Hug your roommate. You know you haven’t seen each other since you both started studying.
