“Classifieds” Art Gallery

The Weaver Gallery, which is located in the chapel building at Bethel, hosted a local artist’s work. His name was Kevin Wadzinski, and I got the chance to stop by and look at his work. It was really cool! He used a lot of different media to create the pieces he had on display. Painting, drawing, collage, etc. The artwork was really interesting to me, because it had so many different layers to it, and yet everything looked good together, making everything look like it just went well together. I was happy I went! I also thought it was interesting that Bethel would take someone not associated with Bethel and display his artwork. I didn’t know they did that, but I thought it was cool.

In other news, I talked with my professor about my studies the other day. We talked about how interested I am in communication studies in general. She suggested I apply for a program called Take Ten. It’s essentially teaching students in grade school, middle school, and high school all about how to communicate with one another nonviolently, and that includes in their speech. I think that it would be a great opportunity, and I emailed one of the ladies involved in it to see if I might participate. Can’t wait to see!

That’s all for now! It’s been pretty busy around here, but nothing I can’t handle yet. I praise God for the strength He gives me and the joy he instills in my heart. I pray you’ll feel that same joy today. Thanks for reading!
