Take Ten and new work
It has been a week full of changes!
I’m potentially beginning work at the Dining Commons soon. I decided to make the switch, and I’m in the process of scheduling everything. I’m also looking into possibly helping out with some catering that the dining services may need some help with. I’m hoping for the best! It should be fun, and it’s a new opportunity, so that’s always nice. It’ll be cool to have a change of pace.
Speaking of changes of pace, I have my first training meeting on Monday regarding the Take Ten program. Basically, this is the program I mentioned in last blog post in which I would help teach nonviolent communication to students in a classroom setting. I’m really excited about this opportunity, and have been writing back and forth with the director to get everything put into place. I can’t wait!
It’s been a nice week spent hurrying about. It’s nice to feel as though I have a lot of obligations at this point. I am enjoying the semester so far, and I will be looking forward to seeing what comes next!
