Going into this week, I had to do some definite self-evaluations. There were a lot of things due, a lot of meetings to attend, and many preparations to make for the opening of Little Women (P.S. you should definitely buy tickets to see the show…it’s going to be amazing).
I found myself asking God for a lot of strength and a lot of patience especially since it seemed I didn’t have enough time. But during this week, I felt God quiet my little anxious heart and give me peace. Then the story of Jesus calming the storm came to mind and it allowed me to see that no matter how rough things get, it’s up to you to decide whether you will be defeated by the tiredness or triumph. Its something I learned this week in chapel. “It’s a choice.” It’s sort of like how I came to Bethel…I decided to follow God’s will and even if there are things that have overwhelmed me, I know that no matter what, I will praise Him in this storm.
