Follow the Rules
A friend of mine is thinking about transferring here from Indiana University, where, let’s face it, there probably aren’t many rules. Nothing against the school (although I am a Purdue fan), but it is a public school and I attend a private Christian school. Some people may complain about the rules, I think I even did before I got here. I thought to myself, “how do they expect me to be in my room on the weeknights by 12:30 A.M.?” But to be honest, I’m in bed by midnight, getting a full 8 hours od sleep.
So when my friend asked me about curfew I told her what the expectations are. And it’s not like you can’t be a couple minutes late, just don’t make a habit of it
She asked me if I liked it and I told her that I did. I mean I chose Bethel for a lot of different reasons but I knew that I needed structure in a school and I feel safe and secure here at Bethel. And she also asked me about the food. Let me just say that it’s so much better than high school
I just wanted this to be an encouragement. Rules may be lame but they’re for our own good. So don’t complain and just follow the rules
