Spring Forward, Pilots
It’s the final countdown! Well, not really. But the days are quickly dwindling down until the completion of my first year here at Bethel College. It’s surreal, actually. It seems like just yesterday when I was jumping up and down in my kitchen with my acceptance letter in hand. All that aside, there are just a few things that I would like to share from this past week to affirm why I love BC and why there is no other place where I’d rather be:
1. I was ambused 
-Ok, so this doesn’t seem like it was the best part of my week, but it was a definite highlight. While my run for Ambush this year was very short-lived, I enjoyed every minute of it. I just have to be a little more careful next year.
2. The beautiful weather- I have to admit this. I wasn’t quite ready to embrace the new warm weather outside. It just seemed too good to be true. But then after a couple of days, I finally got over myself and broke out the shorts and flip-flops.
3. The completion of midterms- I finished the last of my midterms this past Wednesday. My mind was so relieved from the stress that I conveniently indulged myself in a few 80′s pop culture songs.
4. I’m closer to my birthday- So, this doesn’t really have anything to with my Bethel experience, but I’m really excited and I feel that you shouldn’t judge me.
And so if there is ever a time where you think that Bethel is the right choice and for whatever strange reason, you might doubt yourself…DON’T.
