Adversity

Many times in our life we face adversity. When facing adversity it is not an easy thing to do. Regardless of how big or small the problem really is, when going through it the pain can be excruciating sometimes. At Bethel, and everywhere else, you see people going through a lot of pain and suffering. It is just wonderful to see how people can cope with struggles that we never thought we could face. People turn to friends, family, and most of all Jesus Christ when they are dealing with adversity here at Bethel. Coming out of here I will for sure know how to deal with adversity because I have had great examples of Jesus Christ centered people to help me in whatever journey might take with me. Thanks for reading! Go Pilots!!

Thanks for your testimony, Jonathan. Jesus Christ truly is the greatest source of comfort and help in my life. He has always been there for me, and I know He always will be. One of my favorite scriptures speaks of Him and says “he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.” (http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/7.12?lang=eng#11)
I’m so grateful for the power of Christ’s Atonement in my life and for His love that leads Him to help me no matter what I need.
