My Bethel Story
My nickname is: Steph F, but most people usually call me Stephanie.
One random fact about me is: that I was born with 12 fingers (6 on each hand).
On campus I love being at: the Bowen Library or the Shiloh Prayer Chapel because of the tranquility and quietness I need in any given situation.
For fun, I love to: be onstage performing. Whether it’s a role in a production or just doing improvisation, I love the effect of ‘being someone else’.
I came to Bethel because: I truly feel that this is where God wanted me to be. This is especially true because this time last year, I didn’t even know that Bethel existed. Over the course of my senior year and after I visited the campus, I was challenged in my walk by praying and fasting to make my decision to come to Bethel. It was honestly the best decision that I could have made!
Most people don’t know this, but I: really love the adrenaline rush of doing extreme things! I want to go skydiving and bungee jumping and do things that leave me with the adventurous effect.
The best place I’ve ever visited is: East Jordan, Michigan. The scenery is beautiful and it really gives you a chance to experience the beauty in God’s creation.
Since coming to Bethel, I’ve learned: that there is no such thing as a dull moment on campus. There is always something going on and ultimately, that makes it much more fun to be here.
Favorite Bible Verse: “What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us; who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32)
