Refund Request

When financial aid payments result in an overpayment of a student's account, the student has several options.

  • The overpayment may remain on the student's account indefinitely to be applied to future semester charges.
  • The student may ask to have funds returned to any loan lending sources.
  • The student may request a refund to be issued direct to the student. To request a direct refund, the student must complete a Student Account Refund Request and submit it to the Office of Student Financial Services. Follow the directions here(pdf).
