Alumni Enewsletter: January 2013

Lois Pannabecker

New Year’s Greetings from Bethel College! We are all blessed to enter 2013 with the amazing promise of our heavenly Father’s constant presence. This thought brings me great hope and confidence! The campus is currently a very quiet place, but next week it will once again be filled with the buzz of students beginning the spring session.

Speaking of buzz, did you hear that Bethel recently dedicated and celebrated the grand opening of Sufficient Grounds Café and Campus Store? Check out photos of our newest campus enhancement, and stop by anytime for a latte or some Bethel gear.

If you and your spouse both attended Bethel, please pay special attention to the mailed invitation you will be receiving for our February 14 event, where we will celebrate 65 years of Bethel couples! Don’t miss this delightful evening!

Finally, as we approach college football bowl games and the NFL playoffs, here’s some food for thought from Bethel men’s basketball coach, Mike Lightfoot. These observations come from watching spectators at over 1000 games he has coached during his career.

Many blessings to you in 2013!
