Alumni Enewsletter: March 2013

Lois Pannabecker

Greetings!

As our presidential search continues, we’d like to invite you, as alumni, to participate in a special initiative that we’ve started here on campus. It’s called “Prayer for the President,” and its purpose is twofold. The first objective is, simply, to pray for our new president and his/her transition to Bethel. The second objective is to generate hundreds of messages for the next president to read from the Bethel community. Visit this website to post a comment with your favorite Bible verse, an encouragement, a reason why you love Bethel, a story about a meaningful connection you’ve made here, or anything else that might help showcase the Bethel community.

In addition, I’d like to invite you to an upcoming Bethel alumni recital in honor of Associate Professor of Music Victoria Garrett as she celebrates her "retirement diminuendo" beginning this fall. Thirteen of Vicky's former students will gather from across the country to sing and share stories about the music and life lessons they learned from Vicky. The concert is on April 13 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Mishawaka (410 Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka, IN 46544).

Hope to see you there.
