William Hossler, President of the Missionary Church, visited Bethel Tuesday to give his State of the Church Address. In the speech, President Hossler emphasized the roles of evangelism, missions, church planting and leadership training in the Missionary Church.
He presented the church's five-year plan of planting 500 new churches overseas and creating 10 new mission fields. Hopefully, these missionary efforts will result in 50,000 new believers in that same time period. President Hossler also presented the church's vision to plant 200 new churches and to add four new districts in the United States within five years.
Many of Bethel's Religion and Philosophy faculty and students attended the speech and were given time after the talk to ask questions of President Hossler.
