A large group of students attended a forum Wednesday night to discuss concerns about the Bethel community. Students openly shared what they felt were major strengths and weaknesses in the college's atmosphere. Most people who shared commented on the close, family-like bond they have experienced at Bethel.
Constructive criticism also had its place at the meeting. The need to reach out to minorities on campus and the responsibility to serve the greater community were two topics stressed. The forum was recognized by those in attendance as a positive step toward improving the community. Bill Barnwell, the student Judiciary Chairman, led the proceedings.
