Annual Nursing Dedication Ceremony

Sixty-one Bethel College nursing students recently were dedicated to the profession of nursing during a candlelight ceremony in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The January 24 event marked the students' successful completion of the first intensive course in nursing, Nursing Fundamentals. The group included both Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students from Bethel's Mishawaka campus and from the off-site campus at Ancilla College in Donaldson, IN. Participating were 12 BSN students and 32 ADN students from the Bethel campus and 17 ADN students from the Ancilla campus, who will graduate in 2005 and 2006.
The president of Bethel College, Dr. Norman Bridges, initiated the proceedings. Kathy Hoffer, RN, MS, nursing professor was the keynote speaker, presenting, "Who Made the Footprints?"
