Bethel College Artist-in-Residence

Marilynn Ham (artist-in-residence and assistant professor of music) will be performing and signing books at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, December 11 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Mrs. Ham will be playing selections from her new piano book Glory to the Newborn King. Barnes and Noble will be donating a percentage of all the sales from that day to benefit The Foundation for Music and Healing, Inc.—an organization that helps to fund music lessons for physically and emotionally challenged children and adults. Ham has recently published three new books of piano compositions—Crown Him Lord of All, Glory to the Newborn King and Michigan Images. Michigan Images consists of three compositions focusing on themes from the state of Michigan (part of the recital suite series). She played the premiere of her publications on November 20 at Bethel College.
