Bethel College now offers a Master of Education degree program. This two-year program is designed to advance the knowledge and skills of practicing educators and prepare them for leadership roles in their schools. Classes are taught in the evenings to work around a teacher's schedule and classes begin May 16, 2005.
The Master of Education degree has four program options: Literacy, School Leadership, Generalist and School Administrator (this option can lead to the IN K-12 Building Level Administrator License). The Literacy option equips teachers to use instructional strategies that will enhance student learning in the language arts. School leadership prepares teachers to serve as committee chairs, curriculum team leaders, department chairs and mentors. The Generalist option allows teachers to select courses based on interests across cognate areas and the School Administrator program leads to the IN K-12 Building Level Administrator license. Applications are now being accepted. For more information or to apply, please call the Graduate Studies Office at 574.257.3501.
