Bethel College Nursing Accreditation Awarded!

Dr. Steven Cramer, president of Bethel College, has received notification from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) that the Associate Degree Registered Nurse (ADN) program at Bethel College, which also has a location at Grace College in Winona Lake, has received a full eight-year accreditation. The NLNAC visited the Bethel College program in fall 2005. At that time a perfect accreditation report was forwarded to the evaluation review panel in Chicago. Action was taken in February to recommended full accreditation.

The ADN program is one of four nursing programs at Bethel College. The college also has an LPN-ADN, a BSN, an RN-BSN and an MSN program. All programs enjoy the maximum accreditation status possible with the NLNAC as well as with the State Board of Nursing. "We are proud of our nursing programs and the fact that they hold such a strong reputation in the community," Dr. Cramer states. "This report affirms that our associate degree program has an excellent faculty and a strong curriculum."
